Born in 1963, Shanghai native. In 1981, he was admitted to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tongji University, majoring in thermal energy machinery and equipment. In 1986, he obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering. After graduation, he stayed on as a teacher. In the same year, he was sent to Germany to study internal combustion engine. He studied in the internal combustion engine of the University of Braunschweig, Germany. The research department of Volkswagen Group of Wolfsburg is engaged in study and research work. After returning to China in 1988, he taught at the Thermal Power Dynamics Department of Tongji University. At the same time, he began to study for a master's degree in thermal engineering at Tongji University. In May 1992, he obtained a master's degree in engineering. Degree, until 1994, served as assistant professor, lecturer, deputy director of thermal energy teaching and research institute and director of thermal energy laboratory; from 1994 to 1999, he was the editor of "German Research" magazine at the Institute of German Studies of Tongji University. He is a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Mannheim, Germany.
