Zhang Tong, Ph.D., Professor of Tongji University, Winner of Shanghai Pujiang Project, Doctor of Automobile Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Institute of Automobile Engineering, Berlin University of Technology, Germany, and Bachelor of Automobile Engineering, Department of Automobile Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing. He is currently the director of the New Energy Automobile Engineering Center of Tongji University, the director and responsible professor of the National Research Center of Fuel Cell Vehicle and Power System Engineering Technology, and the chairman of Schaeffler, Sino-German College. He was the general manager of Shanghai Fuel Cell Vehicle Power System Co., Ltd.

He has successively worked as a test engineer in the road Laboratory of Hubei No.2 Automobile Factory (Dongfeng); successive CAE and test engineers in the European Product Development Center of Ford Motor Company in Cologne, Germany; senior engineers in the development of new product concepts and systems; automobile body, chassis and suspensions; electrical and power assembly development Engineers, Department directors, vehicle development project directors, engineering directors of a new car product, participated in and presided over a variety of new car development projects.

After returning to China in early 2006, he was fully responsible for the major research projects of the state and Shanghai, and devoted himself to the research, development and demonstration of new energy vehicles based on fuel cell vehicles. During the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, our team successfully completed the demonstration application of China's first fuel cell car fleet and the large-scale demonstration operation of new energy vehicles at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. In 2009, Tongji University applied for the introduction of overseas high-level talents through national key innovation projects.
